Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced AI Engineer to join the team. As an AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating AI endpoints with web applications, utilizing your expertise in Python programming and training Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will have proven experience in LLM observability tools such as Vellum, Portkey.ai, and Martian AI, as well as hands-on experience with building and hosting custom LLMs using tools like Replicate AI or HuggingFace. Job Responsibilities

Integration of AI Endpoints:

  • Leverage your expertise to seamlessly integrate AI endpoints with web applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

Python Programming:

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Python programming to implement and optimize AI solutions.

LLM Training:

  • Utilize your expertise in training Large Language Models to develop powerful and efficient AI models.

LLM Observability Tools:

  • Employ LLM observability tools such as Vellum, Portkey.ai, and Martian AI to monitor, analyze, and enhance the performance of language models.

Building and Hosting Custom LLMs:

  • Apply your experience in building and hosting custom LLMs using tools such as Replicate AI or HuggingFace.

Data Management:

  • Manage and manipulate data efficiently to support the training and optimization of language models.

LLM Training Platforms:

  • Work with data using platforms like Jupyter Notebooks or Replicate to facilitate effective LLM training.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an AI Engineer with a focus on integrating AI endpoints with web applications.
  • Solid understanding of Python programming.
  • Solid understanding of training Large Language Models.
  • Familiarity with LLM observability tools, including Vellum, Portkey.ai, and Martian AI.
  • Experience in building and hosting custom LLMs using tools such as Replicate AI or HuggingFace.
  • Experience with data management and LLM training platforms such as Jupyter Notebooks or Replicate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Recent experience working on data and artificial intelligence governance, including the application of ethical frameworks, handling of biases in datasets, sandboxing, and engagement with stakeholders
  • Experience with innovation accelerators
  • Experience with cloud environments

System Requirements

  • At least 15mbps for main internet and at least 10mbps for backup
  • A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup
  • Note: Back-ups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption
