ABOUT THE ROLE

The Campaign and Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and executing all marketing campaigns, from paid to nurture to ABM, and optimizing them per metrics/data to ensure success in each channel. This position is also the day-to-day contact for Sand Technologies’ performance-marketing agency. Reporting to the Director of Industry Marketing, the Campaign and Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Planning, executing and managing acquisition campaigns (social, display, search, other)
  • Developing industry-specific campaigns in collaboration with Marketing stakeholders to generate awareness and leads using current and future marketing assets
  • Identifying trends, then optimizing campaign spend and performance based on those insights, to maximize budget effectiveness and outcomes
  • Setting up, implementing and tracking Google Analytics and UTM tags
  • Planning, executing and measuring experiments and conversion tests
  • Proactively managing campaigns to deliver ever-improving conversion rates
  • Understanding relevant metrics for performance management and optimization
  • Creating and maintaining a performance dashboard of key data for each campaign
  • Ensuring organic social posts are aligned with marketing campaigns and themes

Success requires expertise in B2B performance marketing, and the ability to create and manage integrated campaigns that deliver value throughout the customer journey. Experience in the tech sector, specifically talent solutions and tech-services consulting, is beneficial.

Key performance indicators for this position include:

  • Delivery of the intended lead quality, quantity and value at or below budget
  • Continual improvement of campaign performance
  • Click / capture / ROI metrics for campaigns that are at or above industry averages
  • Number of campaigns that use marketing assets and meet Sales’ needs
  • Maximum outcomes from the performance-marketing agency
  • Positive and collaborative approach to working with the Sand Technologies marketing team, including writer(s), designer(s), comms/PR, and industry and event marketers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6+ years of experience in a quantitative marketing role managing strategy and execution across social, search, and other performance-oriented channels
  • In-platform campaign experience with LinkedIn and Google systems
  • History building and scaling acquisition campaigns with a strong focus on ROI
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Strong project-management skills
  • Critical thinker with a creative and experimentation mindset
