Our Performance Marketing division stands unique and dominant in this marketplace benefitting from First Media’s triple-threat experts in digital publishing, adtech, and performance. We provide our clients with customized digital storytelling production in a packaged approach that is narrative, data-driven, and beautifully executed.

We’re looking for a Copywriter with deep experience working on creative and engaging performance-driven ads on social media. The right candidate understands the fundamentals of what makes an ad work, within a variety of genres and frameworks, and understands what makes actionable ads, that drive clicks and conversions, work.

This is a temporary/freelance position with the potential to become a full-time, permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Creative Copywriting: Create compelling, engaging ads for digital platforms, including Meta, TikTok and YouTube, primarily video, but also mixed media, including statics, gifs, etc.
  • Strategy behind the creative: Great creative tells a clear product story to a specific audience.  Develop strong reasons for the “why” behind every creative idea.
  • Own ideas through development and production: work with creative directors, production team, and post team to see idea all the way through from script to screen.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a portfolio of strong social ads for DTC, CPG products that demonstrate a clear ability to connect a target, product and benefits in a way that is both clear and engaging
  • Degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a creative builder and maker of stories in entertainment marketing, advertising, or content creation
  • Facebook and Instagram product knowledge is required, YouTube is a big plus
  • Ability to bring ideas to life on a whiteboard, big stage presentation, or finished content
  • Experience producing/directing low-budget ads for TikTok and Instagram is preferred
