Job Description

CrewBloom is looking for a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage and automate the deployment, scaling, and monitoring of our applications and infrastructure. You will contribute to the development and improvement of our CI/CD pipelines, implement robust monitoring and alerting systems, and help optimize our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software developers to automate and streamline the deployment of applications.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS or similar cloud platforms.
  • Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Optimize infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency by monitoring and analyzing system metrics.
  • Implement and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system availability and performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any infrastructure-related issues.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce best practices for infrastructure security.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Solid experience using Python and NodeJS.
  • Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications in AWS or other cloud platforms are a plus.

  • At least 15mbps for the main internet and at least 10mbps for backup
  • A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup
    • Note: Back-ups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption
