Job Description

GrowthAssistant is looking for a Marketing Assistant for our growth marketing team in the US. This teammate helps qualify influencers within niche communities via manual outreach activities in TikTok and build a list of quality potential partners, monitor and approve affiliate registrations and activations, research new affiliate partners, and more.

The Role

  • Qualify influencers within niche communities via manual outreach activities in TikTok and build a list of quality potential partners (# of Following, Engagement Rate, Feed Posts aligns with brand’s mission, etc.)
  • Templated outreach, contract coordination, and obtaining of rights to usage – client to provide templates
  • Quality assurance on influencer content and airchecks prior to content going live (first pass at content review before client)
  • Monitor and approve affiliate registrations and activations
  • Research new affiliate partners (using the tool Tribe Dynamics, Social Snowball, or similar)
  • Monitor partner/affiliate pages to ensure all discounts listed are active and correct
  • Community management and engagement on client social platforms and via partner platforms (i.e. liking, sharing, commenting, etc.) – client to provide templates/scripts and guided responses

Secondary Tasks:

  • Answer Tier 1 client queries via communication platforms (i.e. StatusBrew) with templated responses
  • Escalate Tier 2 queries and/or illuminate new Tier 1 queries that require templated responses
  • Basic reporting and daily KPI checks – client to provide templates and training as/if needed
  • Identify any major changes (short term & long term) on branded keywords (Haus Labs, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Lady Gaga makeup, etc) using Google Insights Finder
  • Search “Haus Labs” and browse through tagged videos on TikTok & Instagram & X and document trends
  • Search “Haus Labs” in appropriate subreddits (r/LadyGaga, r/Sephora, r/BeautyGuruChatter etc) in Reddit and document trends
  • Research, identify, and document new product launches, product wishes, viral LG posts, or overarching community sentiments

The Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience with end-to-end Affiliate and/or Influencer marketing (ok to be lighter on one but must understand core concepts, terms, and general workflow to both affiliate and influencer worlds)
  • CX mindset and ability to engage in social commenting through an organic/authentic voice but with the systemized approach of CX (i.e. Zendesk, etc.)
  • Passion for social media (organic) and beauty category is a must-have (i.e. this role is not applicable to candidates who don’t wear, apply, or have any deep connection to cosmetics)
  • Exceptional communicator and ability to understand nuance, semantics, and slang in written comms
  • Experience with Commission Junction or similar tool

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with product research or comp set analysis activities
  • Experience with e-commerce brands or businesses
