Shipping world-class user experiences……is the job. Our engineering team works on a product that they actually want to use themselves. It’s one of the most difficult products, technically, to build, and yet, when anyone interacts with it (user or admin), it must feel as light and airy as sitting in a first-class seat to Australia.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Technical design and implementation of all strongDM front-end interfaces (web and desktop)
    • Collaborate with product and design teams to consistently deliver experiences to be proud of
    • Work with the server and backend teams to establish secure and performant API request/response shapes
    • Performance optimization of real-time, high object count web interfaces
    • Solve complex problems with elegant solutions

WHO YOU ARE:

    • 5+ years building beautiful experiences with modern web technologies in a high-rigor engineering environment
    • Deep understanding of React v18+, GraphQL, HTTP Request Lifecycle, and Typescript
    • Familiarity with cross-platform desktop and mobile techniques (we use Electron)Node.JS server-side experience preferred (using either Express.JS, Hapi, or something similar)
    • Experience with React Server Components preferred
    • Experience with React Frameworks such as Remix or Next.JS is beneficial
    • React Native experience would be a dream
    • A solid product and design sense, but a love for writing code
    • A passion for testing (we currently use Vitest and Playwright)
    • Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. We like to collaborate and solve real problems.

COMPENSATION

    • $160,000- $220,000 DOE + equity salary packages
