[Hiring] Senior Web Developer at Matomo

We are seeking a talented Senior Web Developer to join our team at Matomo. You will be involved with the maintenance and improvement of a large number of projects using PHP, Mysql, JavaScript, CSS and WordPress, contribute to the overall user experience of our client’s open-source analytics service, provide high-level support for their users, take ownership of technical issues, and refine our client’s website design and features.

This is 100% working remotely role.

– Maintain and improve projects using PHP, javascript, CSS and WordPress

– Provide high-level support for customers

– In collaboration with the core team, solve issues

– Participate in scrum process and meetings

– Participate in code reviews

– Maintain and improve our matomo.org, shop.matomo.org, plugins.matomo.org, developer.matomo.org websites

– Maintain and improve our Matomo for WordPress product.

– Work on other projects as needed

– 3+ years experience in Wodpress development

– 5+ years commercial experience in PHP, javascript and CSS application development (full stack)

– Experience using databases and SQL

– Skilled at writing automated tests

– Ideally strong analytical skills and a passion to understand complex business logic

– Familiar with Linux command line

– Ability to work independently
